eld.gg Diablo 4 Items: Bone Spear
Barbarian — Whirlwind with Infused Weapon Catalysts
Barbarians still dominate melee, and the addition of weapon-infused Horadric Spells adds burst damage and utility. Whirlwind remains the go-to, now empowered with Catalysts that add knockback or stunning effects.
Why it works:
High mobility combined with sustained AoE damage.
Horadric Jewels further enhance survivability or damage.
Great synergy with existing Barbarian passives.
3. Rogue — Shadow Trap & Multi-Arrow Builds
Rogues excel with a mix of traps and rapid-fire skills. The PTR’s addition of Horadric Powers that augment Shadow damage and debuffs makes Rogue builds versatile and deadly.
Why it works:
Debuff Arcana stack well with rogue crit-based playstyles.
Traps combined with Catalysts create devastating area control.
Mobility and survivability remain high.
Season 9 PTR Losers: Builds Facing Challenges
1. Druid — Elemental Shapeshifting Weakened
Druids relying heavily on shapeshifting and elemental summons have seen their core skills suffer from nerfs or diminished scaling with the Horadric system.
Why it struggles:
Some key passives reduced in Diablo 4 Items effectiveness.
Elemental infusions compete poorly with direct damage Horadric Powers.
Summons have reduced synergy with current Jewels and Arcana.
2. Necromancer — Bone Spear & Corpse Explosion nerfs
Necromancers still pack a punch but face slower clear speeds. Bone Spear and Corpse Explosion, once dominant for AoE, have received damage nerfs, pushing players to adapt.
Why it struggles:
Heavy reliance on corpse mechanics now bottlenecked.
Horadric Powers for Necromancer lack some of the damage punch of other classes.
Scaling issues with buy duriel mats new itemization.
