Reiki Infused Restorative Yoga-a restful practice that holds yoga poses (asanas) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind.
6:00 PM
Thursday
Mindful Vinyasa-Hatha Vinyasa yoga blends the elements of traditional Hatha yoga with the dynamic flow of Vinyasa. This style combines the precise alignment and structured postures of Hatha with the fluid transitions and breath-centered movement of Vinyasa. Practitioners can expect a balanced practice that integrates strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. It offers the opportunity to explore both static poses and flowing sequences, providing a comprehensive experience that nurtures the body and calms the mind.
By Appointment Only
Reiki
A Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
Ayurvedic Massage
Abhyanga a classic Ayurvedic massage, is completed with an herbal-oil designed to deeply penetrate the skin, relax the mind-body, break up impurities and stimulate both arterial and lymphatic circulation. This type of massage stimulates the internal healing process of the body.
Swedish Massage
This type of massage involves long, flowing strokes and motions like kneading, vibration, tapping and rolling to loosen tight muscles. Massage oil or lotion is used to protect the skin from friction caused by rubbing.
Myofascial Release Technique
Benefits-restores normal muscle tone, restores, joint range of motion, reduces pain, enhances blood and lymph circulation, decreases trigger point activity and breaks down adhesions.
Medical Massage
It is a targeted, outcome-based therapy prescribed by a physician to treat specific conditions like injuries, chronic pain, inflammation. Unlike spa massage, it uses specialized techniques-such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, or neuromuscular work-to reduce pain, increase range of motion and facilitate rehabilitation.
Shiatsu
Five Element Energetic Shiatsu is a focused, fluid, and dynamic form that uses the relationship and character of the Five Elements as the framework by which energy can be assessed and treatment devised. Similar to Five Element Style Acupuncture in its understanding, it is based on classical Chinese medicine. It uses the premise that the body, mind, and spirit constitute the whole person. Nothing can be isolated, removed, or treated without affecting the balance of the whole

Deb Proscher
Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master & Meditation Guide & LMT
Deb has had the drive to help people for many years. She became a nurse 30 years ago after taking care of a sick family member. She completed extra course work in alternative medicine and worked for several years with a nutritionist and a physician, improving lives in a non-traditional manner. Deb completed her Masters in Nursing and Business in July 2011 and is also a certified Nurse Educator. In the fall of 2016 Deb began her journey of yoga, which she shares with her husband Steve. Her love for yoga and her search for something more guided her to Dutchess Yoga Studio and under the supervision and guidance of Sandy Sooknanan she completed her 200hr yoga teacher training in the spring of 2018. Since then she has completed her 500 hour yoga certification again under the guidance of Sandy Sooknanan at Dutchess Yoga Studio. In a life changing trip to India in 2019 she became a Reiki Master. As a professional Registered Nurse she understands the body on a physical level and as a yoga instructor and forever student Deb understands the body and mind on a deeper level. Combining these two healing modalities she enjoys inspiring others to seek wellness and fitness through the practice of yoga and other healing modalities
Steve Proscher
Yoga Instructor
Steve has worked as a carpenter for more than half his life. The many hours of climbing up and down a ladder, lifting heavy objects and taking the time to make sure every detail was just perfect as his clients safety was always his first priority. Working as a carpenter had put a toll on his body. Steve found Yoga and noticed that consistent practice assisted him in overcoming and lessening those aches and pains. Steve has always had the desire to help others, and found this was true in yoga as well. Steve completed his 200 hr yoga teacher training and has also become certified in Yin Yoga (a type of restorative practice). His foundation is in Hatha Yoga, with his linage in Iyengar yoga. He teaches all levels of students and different styles of yoga such as Hatha alignment based classes, Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin Yoga.
Since discovering yoga it has become a very important part of his life both mental and physical. Steve had a total hip replacement in 2018 and practicing yoga before and after the surgery, helped reduce his recovery time. He can also be found teaching Partner yoga with his wife Deb.
